How is this estimated?

Daily use = sum of (power × quantity × hours). Solar capacity = daily energy ÷ (useful sunshine hours × overall performance). Nominal storage = night use plus selected reserve ÷ (depth of discharge × battery efficiency). Inverter = simultaneous load plus 25% margin, increased to 50% for motor loads. TES-HOME can edit performance and battery assumptions in the dashboard.
